Pollock was educated at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland. After taking Holy Orders, he served at St. Luke’s Church, Leeds, and St. Thomas’ Church, Stamford Hill, London. Then, for the remainder of his life, he ministered to the poor at St. Alban’s Mission in Birmingham. Thomas Benson Pollock was buried in the churchyard of St Mary's Church, Moseley, Birmingham, England. (St Alban's Church does not have a graveyard.)
